We are so excited for our wedding and that you will be a part of it.
We are counting down the days until 4 November 2011!
We decided that between homes in London and Paris, we have enough stuff (too much, in fact!) and kindly request that you please donate what you would have spent on a wedding gift to our favourite charities. The Bhopal Medical Appeal is one of them.
The 1984 Bhopal disaster was the worst industrial disaster in history. Tens of thousands of people died, and hundreds of thousands continue to be affected today by the subsequent pollution into the air and drinking water. Its effects will continue to affect future generations of Bhopal's inhabitants.
The disaster revealed corporate negligence and corruption of a mind-blowing degree, and the lack of justice for victims and the continued urgency for medical attention means that much much more still needs to be done.
