I'm running for a charity called Grace, which is a charity that supports women with gynaecological cancers. Their main focus is on raising awareness to promote early diagnosis and Grace’s work fills a gap for a desperately neglected area of cancer research. Every year one million women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer, yet research and funding for this area is significantly low. Grace provides funding for much-needed research into causes and treatment. Through running the marathon I’m hoping to raise £2,000 (although any extra would of course be much appreciated!).

The marathon is going to be a serious challenge but knowing that all the funds raised are going to support such a great cause is a huge incentive and I’m really looking forward to it. I’d be so appreciative of any support you can give.
