Yes it really is true! 

Despite both being better known for consuming copious quantities of wine (and Becs for smoking), we're giving it all up (well some of it) and taking on the challenge of running 26.2miles in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon in aid of the Sick Children's Trust.

Why on earth are we doing it?

The Sick Children's Trust is a brilliant charity who believes that no child should be separated from their family while in hospital receiving treatment for serious illness. They have seven 'homes from home' at major hospitals around the country, each providing clean comfortable accommodation for families with seriously ill children.

To run the 'homes from home' they rely entirely on voluntary donations and need to raise at least £800,000 every year to keep them open. Your support will help make a real difference to the lives of the families they help.

How can you support us?

Any donation you can give us will make a difference no matter how large or small.  Also, all support around the course is most welcome.  We are planning on being in the ‘just get round’ category rather than being out the front jostling with Paula Radcliffe!  We will of course be celebrating with a glass of wine afterwards at a local hostelry if you would like to join us.
