Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in a 250ft zip wire, 150ft abseil and 150ft free fall 'powerfan jump' on March 16th 2011.

I decided that doing this for 'fun' was not enough motivation as I realised I would be plummeting towards the ground at up to 30 miles per hour, I have therefore decided to take part in these actvities to try and raise some money for Headway Northwest London!

Headway North West London runs two monthly support groups based in Harrow and Brent. the groups offer emotional and practical support in a friendly environment. They are open to brain injury survivors, their families and carers and interested professionals. Sometimes the support groups will have a speaker or arranges social activities.

There is also the LINK which provides informal social rehabilitation for brain injury survivors. The LINK meets each Thursday and offers a relaxed, friendly environment where brain injury survivors can regain lost skills, and gain new skills, share experiences, rebuild confidence and start to establish a social network beyond their immediate families. Referrals to the LINK can be from a healthcare professional, social worker, family member or self-referral.

Both these services are EXCELLENT and rely heavily on fundrasing to keep up the good work!

Thank you for reading, and I really hope you can offer a donation, no matter how small! :)
