We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

<p>Friends of Rachel Rayner have organised three charity challenges in her memory to raise money for charities that were close to her heart. As a participant you will need to find people to sponsor you.<br /><strong>Sponsor</strong>:&nbsp; Each participant will seek sponsors through their network of friends, who will commit donations based on the successful completion of participant's commitment.<br /><strong>Donor</strong>:&nbsp; Simply log onto the web sites and make a donation. <br /><br /><br />Please donate generously in support of the Action for Children charity.<br /><br />Further information regarding Action for Children is shown below:<br /><br /><br />Rachel was very concerned with the plight of disadvantaged children and was planning to pay a visit to a specific girl she had heard about who was under the care of Action for Children. Action for Children supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK, from supporting families at critical times and with difficult problems, helping vulnerable and excluded people, providing specialist help and support for disabled children and helping to find carers for children who cannot live with their families.<br /><br />http://www.actionforchildren.org.uk<br /><br />Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
