For millions of people around the world, owning working animals that earns them a living can mean the difference between having food on the table or going hungry. SPANA works in North Africa and the Middle East where life for working animals, and the families that rely on them, is unremittingly hard. Donkeys, horses and mules are the equivalent of a car - providing their owners with the only means of ploughing fields, transporting goods to market and carrying water home from the well. People still depend on animals for their own survival, but if their animal becomes ill or is injured, they are often just too poor to afford the necessary treatment. SPANA provides a lifeline for these animals and owners, providing vital veterinary care, advice for owners and education for children – all free of charge.

http://www.spana.org/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
