Christmas… for some it is a time to celebrate life. It is a time filled with love, joy and great memories. For others, Christmas is a time that seems to magnify heartache until it is almost unbearable.
Unfortunately, the majority of the girls at Mercy Ministries UK find Christmas to be a difficult time - an intense reminder of the rejection and loneliness they have experienced in their lives. For some, memories of abuse have utterly stolen the joy away from them for the Christmas season.
It is our desire to restore the love and joy of the Christmas season and beyond. You can help us to make this Christmas an extra special time by contributing towards the best gift of all – a bed for a girl here at Mercy Ministries UK.
Our Merry Mercy Christmas campaign begins on the 1st December and here on Justgiving we aim to raise £12,000 in the 24 days leading up to Christmas. This will enable us to offer a young woman the gift of a bed here at Mercy Ministries UK for 6 months.
Our aim here at MMUK is to see lives transformed and hope restored. Wil you help us offer that opportunity to a young woman with life controlling issues this Christmas-time?
