Story

Three Peaks.........and then some!!!!!

We decided the Three Peaks was not hard enough for our Merseyrailers so from Thursday, 16th September 2010 our team of 7 Superstars will be attempting to both walk the three peaks and cycle the distance between each peak aswell!  This is a distance of over 600 miles.

We are raising funds for our Charity of the Year, Woodlands Hospice.  Woodlands Hospice serves the needs of local people living with cancer. It is a facility for the care and support of those with life-threatening illnesses in North Liverpool. The Day Hospice was opened in 1996, the Out-Patient Unit in 2005, and a fifteen bed In-Patient unit in 2009.   It is an independent charity committed to delivering the best possible practice and development of Specialist Palliative Care for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses with complex needs. It honours everyones right to dignity and respect at whatever stage of their illness, by its aim to improve the quality of life for Hospice attenders and their families.
