Simon Adams/Father Abraham Campaign 2010 - 2011 · 31 December 2011 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Plymouth Half Marathon this year in support of Simon Adams a close friend and collegue (previous Head of PE at Parkside and who has more recently worked with Plymouth Tuition Service and as the Head of the Mannamead Centre). Simon  has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. His prognosis is not good, 50% of sufferers die within 14 months of diagnosis and Simon has the most vigorous form of the disease called Progressive Bulbar Palsy (PBP). Simon would like to spend his remaining time raising awareness and supporting research into the disease. He is trying to raise a Million pounds for the charity.

Please help me support Simon in raising money for the charity. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
