Every year in the UK, 14,000 people have their lives cut short following an accident. Millions more end up in A&E, many suffering injuries so serious their lives are never the same again. Accidents are also the biggest killer of children and young people... Yet they don't have to happen.

Story

I'm cutting out the teacakes and taking to the Tarmac because way too many vulnerable people are still dying in accidents.

It’s outrageous that accidents continue to be the biggest killer of young children in the UK. RoSPA needs your help to tackle this problem.

By running in the Brum half-marathon, I hope to help in my own small way. Please give what you can - because prevention really is better than cure.

To give you some idea of the impact accidents have on families, watch this video - "Too Young to Die": www.rospa.com/fundraising/donations/.
