I am cycling with a team from Countrywide PLC on two stages of The Great Tour (The Countrywide Great Tour is a 64-day circumnavigation of the British coastline which never loses the sight, sound and smell of the sea.

I am cycling around the Isle of Wight and from Southampton to Poole over two consecutive days (205km) to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I have chosen to support this charity as I believe Macmillan Cancer Support provide great advice, support and care during some of the most daunting moments of peoples lives. Cancer does not only affect the individuals suffering from the condition but both family and friends.

My brother in Laws mother Erica Hunningher recently passed away having suffered a long battle with Breast Cancer. I unfortunately could not make Erica's funeral but I would like to take part in this event in her memory.
