My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Imagine getting up in a morning, and having only filthy water, full of dirt, and leaves and disease to drink. Or having to walk to school for hours each day, to get there to find school consists of an old hut and absolutely no facilities or equipment. Or falling ill, or childbirth, and having nowhere to go with even the most basic facilities.
But what if you want to do something to help yourself, and you’re full of ideas and dreams and just need a little help to make these things real. To feel empowered, and to make the community in which you live self sustainable for all these things.
I have pledged to continue to support villages like these, to raise funds to dig wells, build schools, provide medical support and to empower local people. All done with a strong environmental focus, on an integrated basis and in partnership with local people.
Every penny raised goes on supporting the above work, so please please please spare what you can. Every little amount makes such a big difference and helps me to help others who just need that little bit of assistance in helping themselves.
