This summer I plan to undertake, along with a certain Mr Anthony Cluett, a twelve-day, 800-mile, self-supported, wild-camping cycle tour of the north of Norway, starting and ending in the city of Tromso.
From Tromso, we will complete a loop by heading south to Bodo, catching a ferry to the Lofoten islands and then triumpantly biking back northwards into the arctic, back to Tromso, like tenacious homing pigeons. This will commence on 20th July.
I have done long cycle trips before (see epic photos), and upon my return, people would stop me in the street, give me a slap and ask me why I didn't raise any money for it.
With these slaps still ringing in my ears, like oddly-placed old shrapnel wounds, any donations this time around would be very gratefully received.
