I decided to take part in the cycle ride initially for a personal challenge however realised at the same time that I could raise money for a charity that is close to my heart.

A friend of mine has been battling against ovarian cancer for the past 3 years and is such a strong fighter as well as a fantastic fund raiser. Last year alone she raised £20,000. This year she has lots of fund raising ideas planned including a ' Shiny Happy Autumn Ball'. The money I will raise for doing this 100 mile bike ride will go to the same charity, Ovarian Cancer Action.
