<p>Hello everyone</p>
<p>We have been overwhelmed by how generous people have been. To raise over £10,000 has been above & beyond our expectations. While this has not filled the hole that Mick has left, it is still a great comfort knowing that at least we are all doing something to help in raising money for a great cause</p>
<p>We have not given up raising money yet & already people are talking about doing potential events including half marathons & long distance bike rides.</p>
<p>Many thanks also to Havering Police Golf Society for a great contribution as well</p>

<p>As a family we have provided flowers for Mick's funeral. We ask that if people were going to buy flowers for the funeral that they could instead donate money to the charity of our choice.</p>
<p>Our chosen charity is the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. This disease has a devastating impact on individuals & families. We are hoping that if more money & time was invested in research into Pancreatic cancer that this would lessen the impact of this terrible disease.</p>
<p>Forty years ago there was a 3% survival rate after 5 years, that figure is still 3%.</p>
