My story

Family and friends of Stephen Usher will be walking in his memory to raise money for Epilepsy Bereaved and also to raise awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).

SUDEP is the cause of hundreds of deaths of young people in this country every year. Young people just like Stephen, healthy and full of life, with great potential but living with Epilepsy. We lost Stephen aged only 16 to SUDEP.

Now that you are here please make a small donation, perhaps just £1 but please also encourage all your contacts on email, all your friends on facebook, and anybody with access to the internet in any form to visit this site and do the same. You will almost certainly know somebody who has epilepsy but you may not know that they do have epilepsy. It is so often a hidden condition but knowing the risks of SUDEP may just reduce the terrible statistics.

Let's see just how far and wide we can spread the word.
