Story

On the 1st of April, I'll be running the Taunton 1/2 marathon. Seeing as I was doing this stupid thing anyway, it seemed a good time to try and raise some money for charity.

A couple of years ago, my Nanna died and, several years before that, so did my Granddad. Both spent their final days in the excellent care of St Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke. In their memory, I'm hoping to raise enough money for two hours of specialist nursing - £200.

Therefore, I'm posting to ask for sponsorship. Anything that you are willing or able to give will be greatly appreciated.

(for anyone who is interested in small metal men, a randomly selected donation giver will receive something from my collection - an added incentive)

***EDIT***

Thanks to a wonderful show of support in the first couple of days, I've had to raise my target total. I am now hoping to raise £350, which is the cost of a day care session for as many as fifteen patients.
