The Foundation is committed to giving back to the Leicestershire community by raising large sums of money for life-changing causes in the county that have a real impact on the lives of those in need.

Story

<p>At the end of each season, Alan Birchenall raises funds for charity by completing 50 laps of the Leicester City FC pitch in 90 minutes.</p> <p>In his platinum year of completing the challenge, the Birch will be raising funds for the "One in a Million" foundation, which raises funds for the following 10 local charities:</p> <p>VISTA<br>Wishes4Kids<br>Leicester Children's Hospital<br>The Harley Staples Cancer Trust<br>PROSTaid<br>LOROS<br>Derbyshire Leicestershire &amp; Rutland Air Ambulance<br>Rainbows<br>Age UK Leicestershire &amp; Rutland<br>Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Fund (Lord Mayors Appeal)</p> <p>With your help (I need to raise &pound;500+), I will be joining the Birch as he completes the 50 laps in the last home game of the season, against West Ham United on April 21st 2012.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
