My story

**** UPDATE: Finished the marathon in 3 hours 59 mintutes! ***

I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for the amazing work done by the Downside Fisher Youth Club which makes a real difference to young people in one of the most deprived areas of London.  I'm representing The Society of London Ragamuffins, a small London charity which exists to help deprived children in London.

I'll be training for months and running over 26 miles just a few days after my Very Big Birthday on 16th April.  So the least you can do is donate a few bob!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

So please dig deep and donate now.

My updates 1

Had a tough run on Sunday - had a mild viral infection on board - but very pleased to have finished in a respectable 3 hours 59 minutes! A huge thank-you to everyone who sponsored me. --Michael
