Story

On 10th and 11th August I will be taking part in the National 3 peaks challenge to raise money for Walking With The Wounded.  This involves walking / climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales aiming to finish all 3 in under 24 hours.  The three peaks are:

Ben Nevis in Scotland (1344m)

Scafell Pike in England (978m)

Snowdon in Wales (1085m)

We will be starting at 5pm on Saturday 10th with Ben Nevis, will drive through the night to Scafell Pike, finishing early morning, before driving on to Snowdon and aim to be done (and probably asleep) by 5pm on Sunday 11th.

Walking With The Wounded is a UK based charity which funds both the re-training and re-education of wounded servicemen and women with the aim of helping them find long term employment after they have left the Armed Forces.  They finance new qualifications, education and training programmes for those who are injured, to help with career transition. This enables the blind, the burn victims, the mentally injured, the amputees and all the other wounded personnel to rebuild their lives and to return to the work place.

Please help support this great charity by sponsoring me and helping me to reach my target of £400.

Thank you!
