My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Father's JustGiving page.
During my father's last weeks he was overcome with the support and care offered by the Beacon nurses. Without them he would not have had his wish of returning home one last time to be with family and friends in comfort and John Wayne movies on the telly. He wanted us to "support those nurses" he said, and that we shall do as his parting wish.

Friends of the Beacon

The Beacon helps local people affected by cancer and other serious, long-term illnesses. It is hugely stressful for a family when someone they love is very ill, and we offer a wide range of services from psychology workshops to aromatherapy to help patients and their families cope with what is happening.
