Focus Ireland’s Shine a Light Campaign takes a new approach to tackling the growing problem of homelessness and more recently, family homelessness, in Ireland. It recognises the need to first provide people with a secure home so they can face the issues that made them homeless from a stable environment. The programme works with them to guide them back to financial inclusion.
The Sleep Out is an apt way for the MetLife Dublin employees to fundraise for this worthy cause, while themselves appreciating to some small extent the hardship of homelessness, and hopefully raising awareness to others in their extended social and professional network about this growing issue in our country.
