Huge thanks for visiting this wedding gift page, which we've set up to help raise money for a new secondary school at a village for orphans and homeless children outside of Kolkata.

We were lucky enough to stay there in December, for a wedding of a friend of Jenny's who has played a key role in supporting the Familia charity for more than a decade.

Although we can both be hardened cynics sometimes, we were utterly bowled over by how friendly the children were to us and to each other (Michael had the time of his life making a video with the kids, and they kept describing Jenny as "beautiful", which wins points too).

Familia has set up a primary school, which teaches in English, but is now in the process of trying to build a secondary school which will give the children there even greater opportunities. Please give generously, and we'll let you know how the school goes.
