Story

I have been a Governor of Wycombe High School for 14 years and am Link Governor for the Music Department, which has nurtured an incredible number of brilliant musicians and produced concerts and musical productions of exceptional quality both at home and abroad.

Sadly, the existing facilities of the department are totally inadequate and the school has launched an ambitious fundraising appeal to raise £1.5 million towards the building of new facilities which will be fit for purpose.

One element of this "Play Your Part" campaign is the Grade One-a-thon. 60 staff and friends of WHS have undertaken to learn a new instrument and pass Grade 1 within 6 months. I have opted for the trombone, which I am not finding easy! Please help me to help the school by generously donating to this appeal.
