<p><span style="color: black;">We are a team of novice and amateur cyclists from Michelin Tyre PLC. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: black;">in 2012, between the 15th and 23rd of June we will cycle 500km in Madagascar to raise as much money as possible for Transaid.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: green;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Funds raised from Cycle Madagascar will benefit the charity’s Professional Driver Training Project, which aims to improve driving safety standards in sub-Saharan Africa. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: green;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Road crashes in this region are the third-highest cause of premature death after HIV/AIDS and malaria, and which the World Health Organisation estimates could take over as the primary cause of death and disability by 2020. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: green;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Funds will also benefit programmes reducing maternal and child mortality rates in sub-Saharan Africa and improving access to health in rural areas.</span></span></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: blue;">Please dig deep, every penny you raise will go a long way towards helping to save lives in Africa.</span></strong></p>
