Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon in April 2010.

I have chosen to raise money for Guys and St Thomas' Renal unit as this is something close to my heart.

As you may or may not know my husband (Chris) only has one kidney. To add to this he has stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease in his remaining Kidney. He was first diagnosed with Chronic Kidney disease in 2001 and has been going to see specialists at the Renal unit ever since.

Guys and St Thomas' Renal unit have been a constant help to him, making sure he has on going support, regular check ups and that his medication and treatment are the optimum.

Please help me to raise funds so that they can continue with the wonderful work they do.

Also I would like to draw your attention to the Organ Donor Register. Only 28% of people in Britain are currently registered organ donors.

If you would be interested in joining the organ donor register please do so via the below link.
