<p>On May 20th 2011, I will be joining a number of friends from the futures industry on&nbsp;a Walk to Work, to raise money for Futures for Kids (<a href="http://www.futuresforkids.org.uk/">www.futuresforkids.org.uk</a>)*.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Starting from&nbsp;Sevenoaks in Kent (no, I don't live there - it's a walk to work the long way round), I&nbsp;will be walking&nbsp;approx. <strong>23 miles (37km)</strong>&nbsp;into the City.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;As anyone who knows me well&nbsp;will&nbsp;testify,&nbsp;strenuous exercise and I have been virtual strangers&nbsp;for the last couple of decades, so this represents something of a&nbsp;personal challenge.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please give me the kick up the backside I need by digging deep for this worthy cause.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you're not in the UK, you can still donate using your credit card.&nbsp; If you are a UK taxpayer, Futures for Kids can reclaim Gift Aid on eligible donations - so it couldn't be simpler.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thank you for supporting me&nbsp;and Futures for Kids.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Michelle</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>*Futures for Kids has raised money for a number of children's charities since its inception&nbsp;including Demelza House, HopeHIV, WhizzKidz, Fairbridge, Everychild and Living &amp; Loving.
