When I took on this challenge I had never run before in fact I hated it but I decided to push myself and see if I could achieve my goal. I never though that I would be able to complete the Barcelona Marathon, but on the days when training was tough and I felt demotivated I thought of my very special, caring and loving sister Janine.Everyone who knows Janine will know the joy she has brought to our family and how she has taught her niece and nephews tolerance and understanding. Never a cross word, never doing anybody any harm, just loving and accepting everyone she meets.

On Sunday I completed the marathon in 4 hours 49 mins and I could not have done this without the love and support of my husband, children, family and friends and everyone who has donated towards this fantastic charity.
