Skydive Week - Old Sarum, Salisbury 2013 · 20 July 2013 ·

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please note-my jump date has moved to 6th July 2014,  due to the unexpected Master Charlie, my mini handsome hero. However my jump will now, not only raise money an awareness but also commemorate 10 years since my dad became a shining star.

Those who know me well, know I sadly lost my dad, my hero, after what started out as lung cancer a week before Molly's first birthday. Earlier detection may not have saved him, however we will never know.

Molly's granny was diagnosed and subsequently passed away last year.

About 4 people I know in total have joined the stars in the sky due to this vile disease starting in their lungs.

I want my daughter and son to be proud of me, I want to improve my confidence and most importantly, another focus, for something I feel very strongly about and hopefully reduce or stop the sadness getting someone else.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. I understand money is tight, hence why I chose to do something that isn't going to be easy! Fighting cancer isn't easy, please sponsor me, even if its just a £1, you never know, it could end up helping someone you love or care about one day! Thank you xxxx
