I rescued Sheba in February 2019 from a house where she was left to her own devices for days/weeks at a time. She lived for years like this and the house was inches deep in every single room with dog and cat faeces. I initially put her into foster but due to circumstances beyond our control the foster was no longer able to foster her. Because she was not good with other dogs I couldn’t keep her and I tried for weeks to find a foster/adopter or rescue to no avail. Easterleigh have gone out of their way to give Sheba rescue space even though they are full to bursting. They are a wonderful charity and they are desperately in need of new premises for their sanctuary. Not only this but they rely solely on public donations. I want to give something back to them and help them as they have helped Sheba and given her safety and the chance of finding her forever home.
