SMA is a genetic disease that affects motor neurones. 1:40 of us is a carrier and in its most severe form children rarely live beyond 2 – making SMA the leading genetic cause of death in babies and toddlers. The SMA Trust is solely dedicated to funding research into a cure and treatments for SMA

Story

I was really touched to learn of baby Arthurs condition from a client of mine who was his great aunty Lyn whilst doing her hair one Saturday, I had until then never heard of SMA and was really saddened to learn about this condition and wanted to immediately do something to help raise money and awareness for them , as I run I thought this would be a great opportunity to enter a race for Team Arthur and SMA so decided on the Taunton Half Marathon on 29th June 2014 and it wasn't long until my boss Kelly and a few other members of staff aswell as people from my running club wanted to do the same so we are running as one big team .
