Changing Faces is the UK's leading charity for everyone who has a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different.

Story

Thank you for visiting this page. I hope you leave with a little less cash and a warm glow in your heart that will do more than compensate. Or just a little less cash. The charity & I will thank you either way.

When I first told my friends and family I was rowing a marathon (on an indoor rowing machine) they didn't quite believe me.  "Who rows marathons?" one of them asked. "Are you making this up?"

Well people do row marathons (on indoor rowing machines too) and I wasn't making it up (and even if I was I would still be doing it but this time with an added incentive of getting in the Guiness Book of Records!!) & I will be rowing one in October.

The most important point is why I'm doing it. I'm doing it for the charity Changing Faces - a charity that supports people with disfigurements and aims to transform attitudes to people with disfiguring conditions. It is a charity that is changing lives. So the least I can do is row a few (ok 26.2!) miles. So please please consider supporting this charity too by donating to it here.
