Story

Freckleton Fun Run Sunday 16th June 2013

For a change, this year we will be taking part in the Freckleton 2 mile Family Fun Run on Sunday 16th June 2013 at 2.15pm to raise funds for the Brain Tumour UK Charity in memory of David Hall - who sadly passed away on Tuesday 11th January 2011 at the age of only 44. So far we have raised over £8000 and would love to reach a target of £10,000. We would be delighted if you would sponsor us for this event. Thank you for your support.

UPDATE MARCH 2012

Blackpool 10K Run - Sunday 13th May 2012

Hello all

Well its been almost a year since we last ran the Blackpool 10K and Heidi and team have decided to run it again this year in memory of David.

This years run is on Sunday 13th May and we have new additions to the running team this year, including David's daughter Grace who wanted to run last year but unfortunately wasn't old enough! Grace is looking forward to taking part this year.

Please dig deep and donate what you can to a very worthwhile cause!

Many thanks in advance for your support and generosity!

Manchester 10K Sunday 20th May 2012

Simon & MIchelle Tickle are running the Manchester 10K a week later, on Sunday 20th May and also running for Brain Tumour UK in memory of Div.

Thankyou for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running in memory of David Hall, a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and special friend to many.

In September 2010 David was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After chemotherapy and radiotherapy, David became very poorly and contracted Swine Flu. Devastatingly David passed away on the 11th January 2011 aged 44 years old, leaving Grace 13 and Joe 8 without their loving dad.

David ran the Blackpool 10K in 2010, something he was very proud of and the photograph on this page was taken after he had collected his medal!

We have decided to run this again this year in Davids memory and to raise money for a very worthwhile cause in the hope this can be prevented in the future.

Any donation is very gratefully received!

I am sure David will be looking down, willing us all on!

Thankyou in advance for your support
