After having two operations she has now started chemo therapy to tackle to the cancer. In doing this treatment, the side effects have meant she is beginning to lose her lovely locks of hair. So to help raise money for a charity that has provided her with invaluable support, Michelle is having her hair shaved off by a close friend on the evening of 27th June.

Michelle's chosen charity is the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre who has given her support throughout her ordeal. Since 1993 the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre (LJMC) has been providing support and information to people affected by cancer.

Each year, they receive approximately 15,000 requests for help. However, the LJMC is only partially funded by the NHS and the rest of the money needed to meet these requests comes from voluntary donations and fundraising activities.

Please make a donation to Michelle for her being so brave as to have her hair shaved off and to a service that helps and supports cancer patients like Michelle.
