<p><span style="color: #ff1493;">Mum died 20 years ago this year, after battling with great courage and dignity against breast cancer for nearly 5 years. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff1493;">My greatest regret is that she was not able to meet her 3 grandchildren, who would have brought her such great joy. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff1493;">Today, through advances in research, early diagnosis levels, treatments and survival rates are greatly improved on where they were back in the mid 1980's. However, more funding is needed before this horrible disease is one day finally beaten.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff1493;">In memory of my mum, I am, along with 6 friends, attempting to conquer the heights (all 19,344 feet/5,895m) of Mount Kilimanjaro in a few weeks time . As many of you will know I am not your typical mountaineer type - I don't like walking much or indeed exercise, but your donations will hopefully give me that extra impetus for the push to the summit.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff1493;">Please help me in this challenge and in the challenge of helping to beat breast cancer.</span></p>
