The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Every year up to 150,000 people die in situations where first aid could have given them a chance to live. Your donation can be the difference between life and death by supporting our volunteers and helping us provide more people with basic life saving knowledge.

St John Ambulance volunteers spend 1000's of hours teaching, training and treating members of the general public. Without their dedication many of the events that you attend each year would not be able to take place, because there would be no-one to treat those who are injured, or taken ill during the events.

Personally I joined St John Ambulance as a cadet in 1992. I have spent many hours providing First Aid, and more recently, Nursing care to members of the public. As a direct result of the experience I have gained through St John Ambulance I have been able to get to where I am now both personally and professionally.

Finally if running 26.2 miles wasn't difficult enough I have vowed to run it as the St John Ambulance Badger Mascot "Bertie". Thank-you for looking at my page, and for sponsoring me to complete this event.
