Absolutely delighted with my 1:50:38 for the birmingham half marathon. It's a tough course but I was over 3 minutes quicker than last year. Thanks to all my sponsors without you my efforts mean nothing.

Well the second leg of the challenge was a much better effort, I ran the peterborough course in 1:50:44 Now I've just got the small matter of the birmingham half marathon on oct 21. It's being televised on channel 5

This year I will run the 3 half marathons in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association:

Bupa Great North Run, Great Eastern Run, and Great Birmingham Run

For those who have regularly supported me, you know I can run half marathons but this year it will be a huge challenge as I've been recovering from a long term injury and have had only a month to train, so please don't think this is going to be easy.  My efforts mean nothing without your amazing generosity.

Many thanks,

Mike
