WE HAVE A WINNER! Nick Mason  drew the winning ticket from over 700 entries on 16th May and it belongs to Alan Payne. Well done Alan and many thanks to everyone for supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust!

Donations  can still be made to the Teenage Cancer Trust on this page for the next couple of months, though the competition is now over.

Thanks again!

Well I did it!!!! it took me 5 hours 6 min and it was tough, hit the wall at about 15miles until 17miles.

Thank you so much for all your support. Every penny is going to the Teenage Cancer Trust to improve the lives of young cancer sufferers.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Here’s your chance to win a Paiste 2000 Reflections 14" Thin Crash cymbal, signed by Pink Floyd’s legendary drummer Nick Mason, and raise a splash of cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust too!

I will be running in the Halstead & Essex Marathon on 8 May and everyone who sponsors me will be entered into a draw to win the donated cymbal.

I was also involved in the recent Jordan Terris Memorial Drum Festival and, getting to know Jordan's parents, Kevin and Fiona, and watching the Teenage Cancer Trust film I wanted to try and do more to help a charity that can't afford TV advertising. I hope to do more of these fund raising events to raise awareness and hopefully raise lots of money!

I will be running just over 26 miles. Every £2.50 of sponsorship will earn one chance to win, so £25 will earn ten chances. There no maximum donation. When you have made a donation, please send an email to charityrun@mikedolbear.com with your name, contact details and the amount that you have donated. When I have completed the run, Nick Mason will pull a name out of the hat and the lucky winner will receive the cymbal. They will also receive a signed certificate of authenticity and a copy of the 1987 Momentary Lapse of Reason album, on which it was used.

Keep an eye on mikedolbear.com for details of my future fund raising events. Information about the Teenage Cancer Trust and its work with young cancer sufferers can be found at http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/

If you would like to follow my training progress follow my twitter account name @mikedolbear

Please remember that you cannot claim Gift Aid on this donation, as you are entering into a prize draw. If you would rather not enter the draw for the cymbal, please do tick the Gift Aid box when making your donation.

Many thanks!

Mike
