Mike's 2015 three peak challenge · 19 September 2015

STEMNET creates opportunities to inspire young people in STEM. Helping to encourage young people to be well informed about STEM, able to engage fully in debate and make decisions about STEM related issues. We do this by working with schools, colleges and STEM employers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Last October I organised and took part in a charity challenge that required my team and I to climb the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours.

The purpose of the climb is to raise money for STEMNET (the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network). STEMNET creates opportunities for young people of all backgrounds and abilities by promoting STEM subjects and providing experience in hands on STEM activities that help motivate, inspire and bring career opportunities to life.

Unfortunately I finished just short on the third and final peak bout our success was measured in the fact we as a team raised over £4,500.

This year I will be attempting the three peak challenge again with a new team with the same objective of raising money for STEMNET. On a personal note I still view the three peaks as 'unfinished business'.

I am extremely grateful of any donations and thank you in advance.

Mike
