Story
As lots of you know, I have been running for the Sarcoma UK with various friends and family since my Mum died in February 2010.
Over 900 miles of training, three half marathons, two Great South Runs, over £200 of physio for my legs, lots of early starts and late nights, all made worthwhile by the money that people have given. But this is the BIG ONE. I, just me, am running the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2012.
I can't see myself doing another marathon and so want to raise as much as I can for doing this one. Please, give a little or better yet, give a lot. Mum died at the age of 64 from a type of cancer that doesn't get the research or news coverage it should. The Sarcoma UK is a good charity with good people running it, helping research this horrible disease and the victims and their famillies cope.
I hope you're able to give something.
Thanks so much.
Mike
