Two and a half years ago a friend and colleague, Kevin was given just 2 years to live after being diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. I am delighted to say that whilst the ultimate outcome has not changed he is still with us and fighting each and every day to live life.

Despite the cocktail of drugs, and of course the condition itself taking its toll, he is still running ultramarathons ( as I type this he is running across the Sahara), inspiring others to live life to the full, raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK, and raising awareness of this indiscriminate disease.

To support the cause and ensure that children of today never have to deal with this disease I, and 60 colleagues, am walking a marathon on 19th May to raise funds for this important charity.
