I'll be running this years Hull 10K as part of "Team Cobus" to raise funds and awareness for our nominated Cobus Foundation Charity 2014.

For anyone who doesn't know I'll give you a bit of info about why I'm supporting this fantastic charity - contrary to popular belief RSPCA Hull do NOT receive funding from the National society and have to raise all of their running costs and vets fees to help animals themselves. 

The National RSPCA charity provides the Hull site with Inspectors and legal fees to fight cases in court. RSPCA Hull often have to care for these animals for many years before cases go to court, so they are totally reliant on donations. 

Myself and others from Cobus are helping to set up an education room this year to teach children all about looking after animals, something which the National society are very interested in getting on board with to roll out to other UK centres.
