<p>I am raising money on behalf of the Archie Foundation and for anyone that isn't familar with the charity: <span style="color: #5a5a5a; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif, 'Trebuchet MS'; font-size: 11px; line-height: 16px;">The ARCHIE Foundation is the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, the Children's Wards in Inverness and Elgin and Community based Child Health throughout Grampian, Highland, Orkney and Shetland. All monies donated to the ARCHIE Foundation go directly towards ‘making the difference’ for sick children and their families in the North of Scotland. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #5a5a5a; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif, 'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size: 11px; line-height: 16px;">My family has benefitted from the Archie Foundation twice ...... once when I was a baby (my mum stayed in an Archie funded room) and last year when my nephew was poorly and in hospital (my brother and his family were also given the aid of an Archie funded room).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #5a5a5a; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif, 'Trebuchet MS';"><span style="font-size: 11px; line-height: 16px;">My occupation as a childrens football and sports coach, means I deal with children and their parents on a daily basis and I understand the need a child has for a parent to be close by. When a child is ill, this need is magnified and through providing parents accomodation within the hospital the Archie Foundation enables parent and child to be together.</span></span></p>
