In January this year, Tina (our lovely mum/wife) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (ya boo sucks!) 

Since then Macmillan has provided fantastic treatment and support to Tina and our family. After a massive operation, we're glad to say that she is recovering well and is part way through a 6 month chemotherapy treatment.

In appreciation of the care and help we are receiving from Macmillan Cancer Support we want to give something back as a family and raise money for a charity that has touched our lives.

We've chosen the Great North Swim as a challenge and something we can all do together. We promise photographs a-plenty and our aim for next year is for Tina to join us :-)
