<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>As many of you will already know our eldest son son James has Down Syndrome. &nbsp;In his early years we were extremely grateful for the advice and support provided by the Sarah Duffin Centre in Southsea, Hampshire and for a few years Nicola was a Trustee of the charity until we moved to Surrey. A few years ago the charity behind the Sarah Duffin Centre rebranded itself into Downs Syndrome Education International (DSEI -&nbsp;(www.dseinternational.org) and they&nbsp;continue to offer James support and he is an active participant on one of there current research projects - recently we have noticed a great improvement in his speach and language and we feel this is in no short measure to the work that DSEI do.</p> <p>With this in mind I'm intending to run the Great South Run on Sunday 30th October 2011 as a member of the team raising money for DSEI.
