As with many people I have suffered the loss of a family member to cancer when my father died from breast cancer, and I'm going to do some work to help dontate to the most common cancer - prostate cancer.

Because prostate cancer is the UK's most common cancer in men (25% of all male cancer diagnoses) and the second most common cause of death by cancer in men in the UK (after lung cancer). In 2016, one man every hour will die from prostate cancer in the UK. That’s almost 10,900 men this year.

Prostate Cancer UK's current campaign is to tame prostate cancer within the next 10 years by working with organisations worldwide to provide better diagnosis, treatment, prevention and support.
