We are raising money for Grove House Hospice which relies on donations to make sure their services can be offered free of charge to everyone in need.   Each year the hospice needs to raise £1.5 million and only 20 per cent of this comes from the NHS.

 

Here are a few examples of how your sponsorship can help:

- £37 a day pays for a Play Therapist to support a grieving child and help them face the future.

- £85 a day pays for a nurse in the Day Hospice to support a patient with pain relief.

- £620 pays for one Hospice at Home nurse to care for a patient in their own home for a week, allowing the patient to decide where they spend their last days.

This is why fundraising events such as the Grove House Hospice Jingle Bell Jog are so important.
