At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In April I will be Cycling from the bomber command memorial in London to RAF Binbrook base in Lincolnshire and back to London to raise money for the Alzhiemers society. I will be camping and carrying all my luggage on the bike. Covering a total of 360 miles in four days.

I've chosen to do this ride as I have lost two Grandparents through Alzheimers and the society will really benefit from the donations made.

My Grandfather was an inspiration to me and seeing him go through the different stages of Alzhiemers was very saddening. My Grandmother cought the disease at a very young age, I was only young when she passed away so I wasn't aware of what Alzhiemers was, so now is the time to do my part and really help the Alzhiemers society.

The money raised will go towards the badly needed reasearch for finding a cure for the disease.
