Story

Mike Bratherton, age 38, loving husband to Mandy and dedicated father to their 4 children and unborn baby, was lost to them tragically and devastatingly on Sunday 2nd August 2009 after football training with his 5yr old son Jake.

His loss will impact on them all and his extended family and friends forever.

Mike worked tirelessly for his family, but also found time to help to fund raise for charitable causes, including Halton Haven, through participation in marathon runs, cycle rides, the Tough Guy challenge and others.  He loved to climb Mt Snowdon and looked forward to the day he and Jake could climb it together.

Mike, a practical and energetic man, would not have wanted to see flowers wilt in his memory.  It seemed fitting that in the turmoil and aftermath of his tragic death, to look for a pragmatic way to dedicate a contribution in his name, to one of his chosen charities, Halton Haven, hence this page.
