1,008miles - 9days - 1 man and his bike - 649 others doing the same!

Two major sporting events of 2010 begin on Saturday 12th June:

1 - England's World Cup Final campaign

2 - Ride Across Britiain 2010

Whilst Capello's pay-inflated superstars finally begin their quest for world glory, Mike Garth will join James Cracknell and 648 others on the first-ever official Ride Across Britiain. Starting at John O'Groats, Mike will ride an average of an Ironman bike-leg (112miles / 180km) every day for 9 consecutive days, aiming to finish on 20th June at Land's End.

Mike will be supporting the Ride's Offical Charity, Paralympics GB. By donating on this page, you can help Britain's Paralympic athletes strive for success throughout their training as they head to London 2012.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks for your time and money and all the best with your own endeavours.

A big cheer to all Paralympic Team GB athletes pushing on to be the best they can be at London 2012.

Enjoy!

Mike Garth
